Chef Greg started cooking and baking in his mother’s kitchen in Nigeria. Almost 25 years ago as his Mum was a local chef who owned a small restaurant at the time. She made the most decadent and delicious Nigerian soups, stews, and rice dishes. This is where he spent most of free free time in the kitchen with her learning all of his Mum’s famous recipes. Gregory Owie was born and raised in West Africa Nigeria. He started his career in the ancient city of benin kingdom were he was born and worked in the catering/hospitality industry.
In August 1994, Greg joined the fantasy school of cake decorating that was well known and owned by his aunt.
He did so well upon graduating in 1998, just after which is competed in a masterline bakers competition sponsored by Unilever and he came First and got a ticket to participate in the grand finale in lagos at the Eko Hotel and suites where he came 3rd Nationally.
He has also competed at cooking shows like knorr taste quest season one and came tops at the grand finale and has been a tv personel on judge a junior cooking competition and also beauty pageants.

Philip Boone from Detroit MI, Moved to Atlanta in 1983 with a bachelors degree in Restaurant and business management. He’s been in the hospitality industry for 30+ years. Phillip has owned night clubs and promoted major events around the city. Now he wants to put all of his effort into Chef Greg being the best of the best….
